Hi! Thank you for showing up.
Hello!
Nice to meet you! My approach to teaching yoga is to be myself, stay in the present, and have fun. I have been practicing yoga for many years, starting in school, different studios, at home, in the park, on the beach, and now in my studio. Yoga has brought me peace, joy, friendships, and a healthier way of life mentally and physically. I love teaching yoga, sharing what I know and also learning from you. I may teach yoga but I am always a student.
My favorite asana is Kapotasana (Pigeon) and Adho Mika Savanasana (Down-dog).

Hello!
I have been on a healing journey of recovery for multiple years. I especially fell in love with yoga in 2020 as a primary modality of healing due to its ability to help one become more inhabited in their body. As a survivor of trauma, as most humans are, yoga has helped me immensely in connecting to my physical body as well as my Eternal Spirit.
I love guiding others through practice and I believe everyone’s journey with yoga is deeply personal and highly impactful. In addition to teaching primarily Vinyasa Flow at Joy Bird Yoga, I facilitate recovery yoga at Crossroads Inc. in Mesa and at multiple women’s shelters and transitional homes across the valley. I also facilitate conscious connected group breathwork sessions and trained in sound healing modalities including tuning forks and singing bowls. When not practicing yoga, I enjoy learning, spiritual pursuits, traveling, hiking, and spending time with my husband and family.
Sutra 1.14: “Practice becomes firmly grounded when well attended to for a long time, without break, and in all earnestness.

Hello!
My name is Pana, and my journey with yoga began over two decades ago.
In 2011, I completed my first 200-hour certification through Yoga Therapy of Michigan, and in 2012, I completed a 500-hour certification at Bikram’s Yoga College of India.
I believe that yoga helps you find the best version of yourself while teaching you to accept the not-so-perfect parts. As you stretch and strengthen your body, you also stretch and strengthen your mind. With regular practice, I've discovered that while yoga itself doesn't change, it transforms you through repetition.
In an ever-changing world, let yoga be your constant—the constant that changes you. Remember, the burn is temporary, but the results are lasting. Keep up your practice, and embrace the journey of self-improvement and acceptance.
Hello!
My name is Alexa, and I found yoga as a way to steady myself in the midst of a demanding career in healthcare consulting. What started as a practice to manage stress and find balance has become a grounding force in my journey through both work and motherhood.
In 2019, I earned my RYT-200 certification at the Green Lotus Yoga & Healing Center (Eden Prairie, MN), but my learning continues every time I step on the mat. Over the years, yoga has reminded me that it is for every human-for release, renewal, and play. It connects us back to our inner nature and to the deep relationship between body and mind.
My hope is to create space for others to slow down, explore, and experience the same sense of restoration and connection that yoga has given me.
